Where to spend Halloween and Bonfire Night in the Market Rasen, Caistor and Brigg area

This week looks set to go off with a bang as we all celebrate Halloween and bonfire night.

And there’s plenty to do in Rasen, Caistor and Brigg.

If you’re in the Market Rasen area the town’s Round Table is again putting on a Fireworks Extravaganza in the car park opposite the racecourse on Tuesday November 5. Nearly £3,000 worth of rockets are being readied for the big night, but the gate prices are only, £4 adults, £2 children.

Gates open at 6.30pm, bonfire 7.30pm with the big display at 7.45pm. There’s also a hog roast and hot and cold drinks.

In Caistor, the town’s Lions hold their bonfire on Saturday November 2 in South Street Park from 6pm.

The Best Dressed Guy competition kicks off at 6.30pm, followed by the junior fireworks display at 6.45pm and the bonfire lighting at 7 pm before the main display.

And in Brigg, on Thursday, October 31, BASH (Brigg Amateur Social Historians) have a Halloween Ghost Walk-starting at 7 pm at The White Horse, Wrawby Street, Brigg.

Tickets cost £3 each (children 7 years and under free) - from Brigg Information.
