Get your boots on for the second annual walking day in Market Rasen later this month.
The Walkers are Welcome event takes place on Saturday, September 21, with four walks planned ranging from four miles to nine and a half miles.
And if you want to stay in town, there is a self-guided heritage walk and also two introductory sessions to geocaching.
“A great day of activity is assured and it’s all free,” said Mike Eckersley, chairman of the Market Rasen Walkers Area Welcome group.
“The walks all start from the Market Place at intervals from 10am onwards and new this year will be two introductory sessions to geocaching, a new real-world treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices such as smartphones, which will be held in the Festival Hall.
“There will also be a stall in the town’s market place, manned all day, promoting walking routes in the Wolds and West Lindsey areas.”
Places on the geocaching sessions, which take place at 10.30am and 12.30pm, are limited and must be prebooked on 01427 675162.
