Explore the Hermitage and Russian museums in Saint Petersburg and discover some of the fascinating stories about these museum giants and their masterpieces - but you only have to travel as far as Nettleton village hall.
Once there, you will have the chance to see wonderful pictures by Leonardo and Rembrandt, ancient statues from Venice and much more.
The St Petersburg Museums is the subject of a talk by Irina Lingard at the village hall this Saturday, March 14, from 2.30pm.
The fee is £6, which also includes afternoon tea.
The event is organised by Nettleton WEA, but you don’t have to be a member to attend.
To reserve a place, or for more information, call Jean Childs on 01472 859347; alternatively, just turn up.
The WEA runs a number of courses and one-off talks throughout the year and more information is available at www.weaeastmidlands.org .
