Rasen Hub in Union Street has a host of events this month.

Swishing event - Wednesday April 29, 2pm to 8pm. Come and Swish your unwanted clothes and find something different.

Lone Parent Group - This new group hopes to bring together like-minded parents to support one another in an informal setting. Every Friday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Cost £2.50.

Every Thursday, 10.30am to 12.30pm, the Creative Writing Group brings together people all ages and abilities to share their experiences. No need to book just drop in.

Junior Craft Club is on every Saturday morning, 10am. Cost £3 per child. Lots of fun for children of all ages. Book early as places are limited.

And this month there are also holiday special Junior Craft weekday workshops on April 1 and 8 from 10.30 to 12.20.

Make a tonic wine on April 7, 7pm to 9pm. These exciting new workshops will teach you how the herbs and spices you keep in your kitchen can be used to produce potions to prevent and cure many common ailments. £15.00 per person. Book early – only 12 places available per workshop.

Craft Workshop – Make a corsage. The first Wednesday of the month between 1pm and 4pm. Come along and join in an organised workshop. Cost £2.50 plus 20p for a drink.

Bee’s Papercrafting Workshops are held every other Monday from 7pm until 9pm. A friendly way to learn card making and scrap booking. For further information contact Bee on 07872 166295.

Domestic Abuse Service – April 13 (as first Monday is a Bank Holiday). Confidential advice on a one to one basis. First Monday of each month. Drop in and ask to see Yvonne.

Citizens Advice Bureau – Drop in to see David on Tuesday April 7 or 21 between 10.30am and 1pm. By appointment only on Tuesday 14 or 28. For initial contact call the Advice Line on 03444 111 444.

Market Rasen Mail – Drop in to speak to the Editorial team every Friday morning (except April 3), between 10am and 1pm.

Inspire! Creative Wellbeing - A friendly and informal group using creativity to improve quality of life for those who struggle with anxiety, low self esteem, stress, lack of confidence, depression etc. Meets every Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm. No need to book, just come along.

Rasen Hub is open from 10am until 4pm every weekday, except Thursday.
