An ingenious use of masks, animation and puppetry combine as the Strangeface Theatre Company bring Shooting the Moon to Caistor as the latest in the iARTSco-caistor season.
The production tell the tale of the life, works and times of Georges Méliès, one of cinema’s most imaginative pioneers.
This visionary combined his passion for magic with early motion pictures and his astounding images survive and inspire over a century after they first entranced audiences.
Funny, poignant and visually enthralling, Shooting the Moon will be at the town hall this Sunday, March 9.
The show starts at 7.30pm, with the bar open from 6.45pm.
Tickets cost £9 (£6 students) in advance from Caistor Post Office or 01472 851159.
