A feel-good, family fun filled feast comes to Caistor with a larger-than-life journey into the world of the Brothers Grimm .
There will be two performances of Hansel and Gretel in Caistor Town Hall on Friday October 30.
The theatre show is part of LP Creatives national tour and brings together amazing magic, sets, costumes and scripts, as well as puppets, illusions and a full professional ensemble.
Hansel and Gretel are the brother and sister team from the classic tale of magic and mystery.
Their lives are turned upside down when their father brings home an unwelcome visitor who, thanks to a handful of breadcrumbs, eventually leads to a woodland adventure with a large cottage built of gingerbread and cakes, with window panes of clear sugar.
The pair aren’t greedy, but the occupant of the cottage promises soft beds and delicious food - however, it would appear she has other plans.
Performances are at 2pm and 6pm, with advance tickets at £4 each from Caistor Post Office.
Admission on the door will be £5, subject to availability.
