The last three years have seen Caistor Running Club go from strength to strength, and this Sunday, July 13, the Club hosts its third annual charitable 10K road race - the Systematic “Sting in the Tail”
As a result of the “Sting”, the club has previously donated £1,800 to two local charities – Caistor’s Lions and First Responders.
This year’s race starts at 10am and is called ‘The Samba Sting’ as it coincides with the World Cup Final in Brazil, with runners of all abilities invited to take part.
Online entries have now closed, but runners can still enter on the day for £15, with registration taking place at Caistor Town Hall between 8.30am and 9.30am.
And if you are not planning on running, go along and enjoy a family day out while supporting the 300 plus runners taking part.
Race details can be found at www.caistorunningclub.com.
And if you feel inspired to take up running, the club has an annual eight-week beginners’ course to get you started.
The club meets at Caistor Sports and Social Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm.
