TURN back time for a 1940s weekend this month.
See displays of period memorabilia, enjoy some food from the NAAFI and immerse yourself in everything from that era at Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre on July 9 and 10.
The museum, set within the original camp buildings, will be open from 10am to 5pm each day, with re-enactors and ENSA entertainments, plus 40s military and civilian stalls enhancing the event at Tattershall Thorpe.
And on Saturday night, boogie woogie down to Coningsby Village Hall for the chance to jump, jive, swing and stroll with Moggie’s Music Memories at the themed dance.
Dress to impress in 1940s civilian or military costume, take along your own drink and just pay on the door.
For more information call Moggie on 01246 230576, or Al and Michelle on 01302 867626.
