GAINSBOROUGH Model Railway Society opens its door to the public this Sunday, July 15.
Since their last open event in June, which attracted almost 200 visitors, the society has hosted a visit from David Barby and the Antiques Road Trip team, as well as another BBC programme, BBC4 Timeshift team – both to be aired in the autumn.
The Florence Terrace premises will be open from 1.30pm to 6pm, when railway will run to a timetable and be operated as a real railway in the days of steam with signals and bells.
Admission is £4 for adults, £3 senior citizens/child, £10 family ticket (2+2).
