The popular farmers’ market returns to Caistor this week.

The regular second Saturday of the month event resumes after the winter break, with more than 20 stalls offering a taste of country living.

Regular stall holders - including Oak Tree Farm, Goatwood Dairy and John Turner Breads - will be in the town’s market place from 9am to 1pm, alongside many new stalls offering some seasonal products.

Now that spring seems to have finally sprung, Avril the Lady Gardener will be selling plants for the garden and English Rose has a selection of fabrics to inspire crafty makes for the home, but if you can’t be bothered, there will be ready made items on sale.

A selection of poultry and game will be on offer too from Rosedale Farm for a Sunday lunch with a difference and Little Orchard has made a welcome return to Caistor market to supply a wide choice of fresh vegetables and fruit.
