Ludford village hall leaps back onto the Lincolnshire Rural Touring programme with two productions for all ages to enjoy.
Receiving a warm welcome back to the Wolds venue is the Northumberland Theatre with their acclaimed and amusing play ‘Rallying Round’.
The audience will be taken on a road trip full of laughter and tears as young and old collide on a journey of discovery.
North East writer Stewart Howson, who also stars in the two-man play, was inspired to write the play based on his love of taking part in vintage rally events and experiences of touring around the country in the company of younger actors.
“I hope it’s a play that people will find both laugh out loud funny and extremely moving,” he said. “It’s basically the story of youth, age and two very different worlds colliding with compassion.”.
Rallying Round is at Ludford on Thursday, October 2; tickets £9 and £8 from 01507 313335 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The second event - Slim Panatella and the Mellow Virginians in concert - is on Saturday February 14.
