TALENTED pupils have designed a mosaic to welcome visitors to their school.
Children at Market Rasen Primary School – with the help of artist Janet Schooley – created an impressive mosaic displayed at the entrance to the school.
The children drew pictures of things that were important to them and worked with Mrs Schooley to turn their images into a mosaic.
Adam Dame, 10, said: “It was an amazing experience and I feel so happy to have done this.”
Gemma Edser, 10, said: “It was fun do to but we all had to be very patient.”
Mrs Schooley said she enjoyed working with the children on this ‘wonderful’ project.
She said: “It was great to work with the children to create such an impressive mosaic.”
Deputy head teacher Nichola Boulton said: “It’s a beautiful piece of work and is something the children can always look back on and feel proud that they helped to create it.”
