The Hope Tavern at Holton le Moor begins the 2015 Blues Sessions this Sunday, January 18, with some top class acoustic blues performed by Half Deaf Clatch.
Known to his friends as Clatch, Half Deaf Clatch writes, plays, and produces all his own music and lyrics and his albums are downloaded all over the world.
He competed in the regional heats of the New Brunswick ‘Battle Of The Blues’ in 2012 and 2013.
Also in 2013 he was nominated for ‘Best Original Song’ in The British Blues Awards and successfully appeared on the acoustic stage at The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival.
His music has been featured twice recently on the cover mount CD of The Blues Magazine and they featured an article on Clatch in the January 2014 issue as ‘One To Watch in 2014’.
He was also featured in Blues In Britain in April 2014, having been nominated in three categories in the British Blues Awards - Emerging Artist, Songwriter and Acoustic Artist Of The Year.
Now there is the chance to see him at the Hope Tavern.
