This Sunday’s Blues Session at the Hope Tavern in Holton le Moor sees the appearance of one of the UK’s top female blues vocalists with her band - Dani Wilde.
Since supporting Jools Holland at the Royal Albert Hall in 2007, Dani’s national and international reputation and standing has gone from strength to strength.
That same year saw her turn professional, when she signed to one of the most influential Blues record labels Ruf Records.
In the intervening period she has worked with people such as Mike Vernon and Grammy award winner Ike Nossel on her three albums.
Dani has had No 1 albums in several European Countries, as well as being a regular guest on the Paul Jones Show and had a No 1 on the itunes charts.
Throughout 2011, Dani was also part of the female fronted blues outfit ‘Girls with Guitars’ (with Cassie Taylor) and as a solo blues and soul artist, Dani has toured Europe, America, Canada and Africa, has opened for Johnny Winter in Times Square New York and shared a stage with PeeWee Ellis at WOMAD festival.
The Dani Wilde Band will be at The Hope on Sunday, September 15 and the door charge is £8.
