A unique evening of music with sounds from across the globe takes place at The Chase in Market Rasen on Sunday December 15.

John Pape has performed all over the UK, Europe, and America, either solo or as a member of various bands and in his travels has collected many different musical instruments.

The instruments he will be bringing to play at The Chase will include Indian sitar, mamola {an Indian keyboard instrument], Arabic oud, Weissenborn Hawaiian guitar, a 1929 vintage national steel guitar, Chinese Ruan, Greek bouzouki, Portuguese Guittara, Appalachian dulcimer, autoharp, and a Theremin.

John will play and talk about these instruments and at the end of his performance will ask members of the audience to play the Theremin to create a soundtrack using a multi-looping pedal.

So for an evening of unusual sounds, and the chance to play the Theremin, the place to be is The Chase in Market Rasen from 8pm on Sunday December 15.
