Bob Hall & Hilary Blythe are the featured artists at Faldingworth Memorial Hall this Saturday, May 16.
Critically acknowledged as Britain’s finest blues and boogie pianist, Bob Hall has influenced generations of players. Coming to fame in the sixties with The Groundhogs & Savoy Brown, he then spent 20 years backing bluesmen.
Following a stint in The Blues Band, he formed The Bob Hall Show with partner Hilary Blythe on base and vocals in 1991. They have toured extensively ever since, including a spell living in New Orleans, widening their music to include original songs, gospel, folk and country.
In support on the night will be Lincoln’s Pete & Helen Wray, with their mix of ragtime and country blues.
Tickets priced £8.
