Americana and folk influences rub shoulders with rock sensibilities at this week’s live music event at Kirton Town Hall Live.
Formed in 2012 The Black Feathers have been busy touring the country ever since, enticing and captivating audiences as they go.
The duo, comprising Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, draw their influences from a number of wells, all bound together with gorgeous close harmonies.
The pure emotion and subtle timing of their song delivery is as evident as the enjoyment radiating from their on stage chemistry.
Earlier this year, they recorded their first full length CD and over the summer they have played at numerous festivals.
They are also due to play a full length UK tour this autumn to promote the album.
Support will come from Hull singer songwriter 19-year-old Emily Moulton, who has been creating quite a name for herself over the last 18 months.
Advance tickets for the Friday August 14 concert cost £11 from One Stop (Kirton), Brian on 01652 649230 or www.wegottickets.com.
Doors open at 7pm, with music from around 7.30pm.
