A CHARITY event to raise money for the Limbless Association is being held at the Blacksmith’s Arms pub in Rothwell on Saturday, April 14 at 9.30pm.

Popular band the Dangerous Brothers will be performing and there will be a late night BBQ and raffle.

The event has been organised ahead of James Middleton taking part in the London Marathon to raise money for the charity – his girlfriend lost a leg after being hit by a truck in 2010. The Limbless Association provides support to people who have lost limbs.

Tickets cost £5. For more information call the Blacksmith’s Arms on 01472 371300.
