The Laurence Jones Band comes to the Hope Tavern

Last time Laurence Jones appeared at Holton le Moor’s Hope Tavern it proved to be one of the most memorable gigs at the venue and now he is back for more of the same.

Despite his young age and even younger appearance, Laurence gave the full on rock/blues performance of a seasoned pro and brought the house down.

Although still only 21 years old, he is now considered one of the UK’s top blues acts.

Recently returned from recording in the US, Laurence is in the UK for a short while before heading off to tour Germany Sweden, Switzerland and Norway, followed by the Blues Caravan Tour for Ruf records.

He will then go on to join Walter trout on his Autumn UK Tour.

Playing his take on Blues/Rock, Laurence is noticeably influenced by the likes of Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix,
Tony Mcphee, B.B King and Albert Collins.

The Laurence Jones Band will be at The Tavern this Sunday, February 23.

The gig starts at 4pm, with the door charge £8.
