Join the 78RPM Jazz Band for a musical tonic to dispel those winter blues as they present their ‘Musical Flu Jab (or Winter Sunshine Part Two)’ in Louth.

The performance will take place at 7.30pm this Sunday, February 1, at the Riverhead Theatre.

The band says they will present they show they should have done last year and their music will provide “a strong cocktail of hot rhythm and sweet melody to ward off the lurgi that laid two of our number low last time”.

Louise Cookman is now fighting fit and in fine voice, while Peter Horsfall, on trumpet, will also be returning after a nasty dose of flu.

And they will be joined by musicians Tom Wheatley, Piers Clark, Mark Allaway and Martin Wheatley.

Tickets are £13 from the Riverhead Theatre, call the Box Office on 01507 600350, 10am to 1pm, or visit www.louthplaygoers.com
