Guitar guru Stefan Grossman will be in concert as part of the Faldingworth Live series of events this Saturday, April 11.
American-born Stefan has been playing guitar since 1954, taking lessons from the Rev Gary Davis learning finger style blues and ragtime in time to join the folk and country blues revival of the 1960s.
In 1967, he came to England and stayed, playing clubs, concerts and recording albums.
Touring Europe, he met many fine guitarists who had not yet recorded, leading him to start Kicking Mule Records, which included his own instructional albums, which have become a major influence for acoustic guitarists everywhere.
At Faldingworth, he will be supported by John & Dianne Kirk, who will perform a set in tribute to Bob Dylan.
Tickets are £10 and can be reserved on 01522 535770 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
