Old De Astonians are getting in tune once more to perform at a charity concert in Market Rasen Methodist Church later this month.
Music for a Summer Evening is being held in memory of Michael Corden to raise money for the Michael Corden Charitable Fund, set up to help the fight against pancreatic cancer by Michael’s wife, Jane, and some of his friends after his untimely death in December 2012.
Michael’s brother David will be singing a selection of popular favourites at the concert, accompanied by his old friend Andrew Timmins.
David and Andrew have been friends since their days at De Aston School in the 1970s and have previously presented two very popular concerts in Market Rasen.
And on this occasion, they will be joined by some other Old De-Astonians from their school days, including Market Rasen-based folk group Da Capo.
The concert takes place on Saturday, June 14, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 from Mick Harper on 01673 844214 or email email@example.com .
