A lesson in fine folk singing comes to Faldingworth Live as teacher turned singer Flossie Malavialle takes to the stage on Saturday, February 21.
The French singer got involved with the UK folk scene while on a teacher exchange in the North East.
After her exchange was over, she went back to France for a year but she missed the life in England so decided to return.
Flossie is now resident in Darlington and has been singing in clubs and festivals since 2002, intriguing all with her quaint French-Geordie accent and charming people with her stories and ready laughter.
However, it is her clear tuneful voice and exquisite choice of eclectic material that really bowls her audiences over.
Also performing on the 21st will be Spalding singer Paul Dickinson.
