DESCRIBED as one of the most exciting new artists writing and performing in the Blues world today, the Clare Free band comes to The Hope Tavern this Sunday, November 20.

Clare is an artist who is redefining the Blues for the modern world. Her roots lie in the blues but her influences go way beyond the genre.

A passionate, award-nominated songwriter and a fabulous guitar player, she has an excellent band and her performances are fiery, exciting and heartfelt.

Clare Free is one of the fastest rising stars on the UK Blues circuit – but success didn’t come overnight.

Having served her time with bands, she finally made the decision to go it alone and released her debut solo album “Be Who You Are”.

The self-penned mixture of Blues, Rock and Country propelled her into the limelight, and she will soon release her second album.

All four tracks from her massively acclaimed 2010 EP ‘How It Is’ made it into the Top Ten in the Blues Charts and saw one track nominated for both the British Blues Awards and reach the final of the People’s Music Awards.

The Clare Free Band will be performing at The Hope Tavern, Holton le Moor, where the performance starts at 4pm and door charge is £6.
