The power of Big Country, the passion of Springsteen and the soundscapes of Coldplay, moulded into a new original and exciting sound.
That is the way major Celtic Rock Band Coast has been described - and this week they come to Market Rasen.
Having spent time in the Outer Hebrides as young men, Paul Eastham together with his brother Chris Barnes were moved and inspired by the people, culture and music, from which the grass roots of Coast emerged.
Standing proud of their amalgamated rock and Celtic roots, their drive and commitment has seen them graduate from the pubs and clubs to the big stages across Europe.
Described as once heard, never forgotten, their audiences are dancing one minute and silenced by beauty the next, as their unique sounds take you from windswept shores of North Uist to the hard working docks of their home town, Southampton.
Coast will be playing at The Chase in Market Rasen’s King Street on Saturday, December 7.
Entry is free and the band will be playing from 9pm.
