Celebrate the wit and music of G&S

On Sunday 7th July in St James’s Church, Louth, at 7.30pm, Louth Choral Society presents its Summer Concert: ’TARANTARA!’ - a celebration of the music and wit of Gilbert and Sullivan.

Performed as part of the Zero Degrees and Louth Music Festivals, the concert showcases a variety of songs and choruses by the celebrated English operetta-writing partnership, the nineteenth century’s Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

Hot on the heels of the New London Opera Company’s recently successful production of ‘Iolanthe’ at the Louth Playgoers Theatre, the concert is sure to appeal to music lovers of all tastes - as well as Wandering Minstrels, Pretty Maids, Pirates and Policemen unhappy with their lot!

Tickets costing £10 (reserved) and £7 (unreserved) are available from Eve & Ranshaw, Market Place, Louth, the Caxton Theatre Box Office at Grimsby Library, and the Society’s own box office on 01507 463410.
