THE annual Waterways Rally will be held at Brandy Wharf Leisure Park next month.
And as always, one of the highlights will be the raft race, where teams of four compete on a man-made raft – with no mechanical propulsion – for the trophy.
Other events include a canoe race, tug of war and other games.
The Humber Keel and Sloop Preservation Society will be displaying one of their boats – Amy – and the Inland Drainage Board will hopefully be opening the Waddingham Drain Pumping station.
The rally will take place from June 8 to June 10, with the raft race on Saturday, June 9.
All proceeds from the event will go to charity.
Prior booking for boat moorings, caravans and tent pitches is essential.
