There is a change from the guitar led Blues Acts that usually perform at the Hope Tavern this Sunday, October 4, as the Holton le Moor venue sees the return of Dale Storr.
The highly respected Blues and Jazz musician plays and sings in the style of Blues from the New Orleans and Deep South, along with probably the best Boogie Woogie in the UK.
Dale Storr the leading exponent of New Orleans Piano in the UK and has continuously been touring the country, as far and wide as Penzance to the Shetland Islands, while also venturing abroad to win over a legion of fans.
He won the award of Best Solo Instrumentalist at this year’s Buxton Fringe Festival and has reached the finals of the British Blues Awards as best piano player in the UK for the last six years.
The gig starts at 4pm, with a door charge £8.
