Shoppers at this Saturday’s market will get more than they bargained for as The Lincolnshire Show’s ‘Show comes to Town’ visits Market Rasen.
Farm animals, tractors and local produce will be on offer to give shoppers a taste of some of the exciting attractions at The Lincolnshire Show in June.
Indulge in Lincolnshire sausage sandwiches from Uncle Henry’s and taste Redhill Farm’s Free Range Pork or cool off with Willingham Fayre ice cream.
There will also be an opportunity to meet the Lincoln Longwool sheep and enjoy performances from the Bevox, Nettleham and Horncastle Community Choirs and Rhythm in Movement.
“The Lincolnshire Show is focused around agriculture but it has developed into an educational, entertaining and jam-packed day perfect for families, schools and couples,” said Amelia Chambers, marketing manager at Lincolnshire Showground.
“No matter what age you are the show offers entertainment with so much variety.
“We attract thousands of people to the show each year but still want to show those who don’t attend or haven’t for a while what’s on offer on a smaller scale.
“I’m looking forward to Show Comes to Town – it’s fantastic to see a taste of the show and children absolutely love the farm animals.”
Advanced show tickets will be on sale too, at a reduced price of £17 for adults.
