Children from Lincolnshire Montessori School (Caistor) are holding the town’s first children’s photography exhibition in Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre this month.
Working with local photographer Jess Male on a series of weekly workshops, the children, aged 7 to 11, will have their work displayed at child height in the gallery, prompting adult visitors to view the world through a child’s eyes.
“All About Me” will be on display until March 31.
“This exhibition promises to be a great celebration of young children’s work; their creative spirit and their sense of self,” said School Development Manager Nathan Archer.
“The children have been involved in designing the exhibition which will feature images which are important to them and reflect their daily lives.
“We are very grateful to both Jess and the Arts & Heritage Centre for their involvement.
“In particular we express our thanks to sponsors Immingham Motors who have generously supported the exhibition.”
