It’s Cinderella...with a twist

THE WELL-LOVED tale of Cinderella has been given a twist for the South Bank Players’ annual family pantomime.

Strictly Cinderella takes to the stage again this week

“I wanted our pantomime to have a traditional feel, but incorporate some extra characters from well-known TV shows that the audience will recognise,” said member Liz Drury, who gave the pantomime its glitter-ball make-over.

“There are plenty of opportunities for audience participation and we hope people will join in with the usual pantomime banter.”

As part of the South Bank Players’ rural touring project, funded by LEADER and North Lincolnshire Homes, the pantomime will be performed at South Killingholme Community Centre on Saturday, January 22, at 7.30pm.

The South Bank Players and the Junior Players always welcome new members and anyone interested in acting, or helping out backstage, should contact Dennis Bloor on 01469 531003.
