FUN and games abound this
weekend to raise money for St
Barnabas Hospice.

The Graham Fisher International It’s a Knockout takes place at
Washingborough Playing Fields, in Fen Road, Washingborough, this Sunday, July 22, from 1pm.

The event promises to be a day filled with thrills and spills, screams and laughter – and it’s free to watch.

There will also be a bouncy castle, barbecue, face painting and more.

All money raised will go to continue the work of the charity to provide care for people living with the impact of a life-limiting illness.

And if you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer for the charity, you can log on to a new online information and application system.

St Barnabas offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities across the county and welcome applications from people aged 16 or over.

Volunteers come from all walks of life; some wishing to learn new skills and grow in confidence, with others
bringing a lifetime of experience.

The hospice is looking for volunteers in their retail, clinical and fundraising departments. Go to and click on vacancies to find out how you could support this local charity.
