There are lots of activities going on at Rasen Hub throughout May.
n Junior Craft Club is on Saturday Mornings at 10am with lots of fun for children of all ages. The cost is £3 per child, but book early as places are limited.
Themes are: May 9 - paint your own picture frame; May 16 - make a puppet.
n The Creative Writing Group brings together people all ages and abilities to share their experiences. Every Monday 10am to 12 noon, cost £2.50. No need to book just drop in.
n Bee’s Papercrafting Workshops: - every other Monday, 7pm to 9pm. A friendly way to learn card making and scrap booking. For further information contact Bee on 07872 166295
n Craft Workshop: May 6, 1pm to 4pm. This workshop will show you how to make beautiful straw plaited Mordiford Hearts at just £5, which includes all materials and refreshments. Booking required.
n Herbal Workshop: May 12 - dealing with Stress and Insomnia, 7pm to 9pm. T
hese exciting new workshops will teach you how the herbs and spices you keep in your kitchen can be used to produce potions to prevent and cure many common ailments. Cost £15 per person. Book early – only 12 places available per workshop.
n Inspire! Creative Wellbeing: A friendly and informal group using creativity to improve quality of life for those who struggle with anxiety, low self esteem, stress, lack of confidence, depression etc. Meets every Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm. No need to book, just go along.
n Family History: Are you researching your Family History and needing help? Drop in to chat to others for advice and guidance. Last Friday of the month from 10am to 12noon. £2.50 including a cuppa.
n Domestic Abuse Service: Confidential advice on a one to one basis. First Monday of each month. Drop in and ask to see Yvonne
n Citizens Advice Bureau: Drop in to see David on Tuesday May 5 or Tuesday May 19 between 10.30am and 1pm. By appointment only on Tuesday May 12 and May 26 between 10am and 1pm. For initial contact call the Advice Line on 03444 111 444.
n Market Rasen Mail: Drop in to see the Editorial team every Friday morning between 10am and 1pm
n Rasen Hub is open from 10am to 4pm everyday weekday, except Thursday.
