Food to tickle your taste buds and whet your appetite are on offer at Barton’s first Food Festival of the year, taking place this weekend, Saturday 14 June, in the town’s King Street.
The event will be packed with 16 stalls selling the best locally produced food.
You can sample great chocolate from The Little Chocolatier and free range pork from Redhill Farm.
There’ll be locally reared beef supplied by Middleton Meats and fresh fish available too.
Superb fresh breads and handmade pies are also among the treats in store when you visit the festival.
The event runs from 9am to 3pm, with music and street entertainment to help get you get into the mood.
“Everything on sale comes from just a stone’s throw away and is sold directly to the producer,” said Coun Liz Redfern, leader, North Lincolnshire Council.
“Not only will Barton’s Food Festival satisfy your taste buds, it will hopefully encourage more people to shop local as there are some fantastic producers offering a wide range of food.
“With ample free parking, there’s every reason to come to the Food Festival this weekend.”
