Newfoundland folk/rock trio The Once make a welcome return to Kirton in Lindsey this weekend to play at Town Hall Live.
They are fronted by Geraldine Hollett, who possesses a beautiful, crystal clear and self-assured voice, who is accompanied by the multi-instrumentalist Phil Churchill and Andrew Dale on guitar, mandolin, bouzouki and violin.
The Once are sometimes melancholy, sometimes funny, but always poignant, with a knack of making contemporary songs sound traditional, and traditional songs sound contemporary.
And a bonus to the evening is The Chris Pureka Band from Portland, Oregon take a break from their UK tour to play support.
Advance tickets for the gig this Saturday, March 22, are priced at £11 and can be obtained from the OneStop store in the town, from Brian on 01652 649230 or from www.wegottickets.com
