The first ‘Brigg Family Fun Day’ is being held this Bank Holiday Monday, May 26 on the field at Brigg Football Club from 11am to 4pm.

This will be followed by an evening gig with eight local acts held at the same venue from 8pm to midnight.

The events are being organised by Lindsey Draper and Lisa Anderson to support The Children’s Hospital Charity (Sheffield Children’s Hospital) in memory of local lad Isaac Anderson.

The day promises to provide lots of fun and entertainment for all the family.

South Humberside Community Radio will also be there on the day, providing music and compering the event.

Isaac sadly passed away from a genetic condition aged just 19 days old last year at Sheffield Children’s hospital following his transfer there from Scunthorpe Hospital.

A fundraising target of £19,000 has been set and donations can be made at

Donations to date have raised £9,800 through various activities.

All money raised will go directly to Isaac’s memorial fund within the Children’s Hospital Charity, which benefits the Intensive Care Unit, Medical research and Genetics departments.
