Northern Lincolnshire Festivals Weekend is being staged in the Brigg area from Saturday May 25 to Monday May 27.
Many attractions, village halls and community venues across Northern Lincolnshire will open their doors with a range of events.
Events include a Roman Day at Brigg Heritage Centre on Saturday, from 10am to 2pm, when there will be a chance to see Roman Lady Julia in character as she was in Roman times, along with Roman museum pieces on show.
Also on Saturday, Carers Coffee Cake’n’Craft at Jessie Wilcox House in Brigg’s Redcombe Lane, with the chance to look around the Carer’s Support Centre, while at Broughton, the Methodist Church will be opening to the public after the refurbishment of the Village Hall; both events from 10am to 2pm.
Over at Kirton in Lindsey, there will be tours of the town hall and the screening of heritage films, from 10am to 2pm, while at Klassic Park there is a bowls gala day.
On Sunday, historic Horkstow stages a craft and produce market from 11am to 5pm. The Church of St Maurice will also be open. And for a bit of entertainment, head to Brigg Parish Hall in Barnard Avenue at 7.30pm, with South Bank Players present . Tickets £5 adults, £4 concessions.
