AS PART of a national celebration of arts, culture and heritage, a number of interesting places will be open after-hours.
North Lincolnshire Council is staging its Museums at Night this weekend - May 18 to 20 - with all venues open free of charge from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Centres of historical interest open to the public include the recently restored Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall, opened 12 months ago by the Earl of Wessex, Scawby Hall and gardens with the nearby St Hybald’s Church, Elsham Wolds RAF Museum and Wrawby Postmill.
During the weekend, younger visitors can pick up a free learning pack from any of the participating venues to learn even more about our local heritage.
