One of the Market Rasen area’s most famous sons is to return to Lincolnshire this month.
As part of a year of special events to mark the Magna Carta 800 anniversary, Jim Broadbent and friends will be performing ‘An Evening with Tennyson, celebrating the county’s most famous poet’ in Lincoln Cathedral this Friday, October 9.
This high profile event will take place in the splendour of the nave and all profits will be donated to maintain and care for the Cathedral building.
“We are delighted to welcome Jim back to his home county and look forward to an entertaining and magical evening,” said a Cathedral spokesman.
