ENCHANTING and laugh out loud comedy is set to hit Lincoln Castle.

Lord Chamberlain’s men will perform Shakespeare’s timeless and hilarious play A Midsummer Nights Dream on Friday, July 15.

An amazing all-male cast touring the UK comes to Lincolnshire and invites you to bring picnics to enjoy this open air spectacular.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is probably Shakespeare’s most prominent work and has managed to fully outlive its intended span of recognition, entertaining audiences for almost 400 years.

This tale of love, magic and amateur dramatics will prove to be a rollercoaster of an evening, a masterclass play in its own right portrayed to the very highest of standards by Lord Chamberlain’s men.

Gates open at 6.30pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. The running time is two hours, including an interval of 15 minutes.

Tickets cost £14.50 for adults and £8.50 for children. Tickets can be purchased from the Lincoln Drill Hall box office on 01522 873894.

Performances will be held outside despite the weather so have an appropriate dress sense; it can be cold in the castle.

People may bring their own tables and chairs, picnics and rugs etc as seating is not provided.
