Legsby’s annual Apple Day is back by popular demand this Sunday, October 12.
Go along to Forge End - between the church and the primary school - for an opportunity to socialise with friends and neighbours and turn those windfall apples into the tastiest, freshest and healthiest apple juice, or even, eventually, cider.
Experienced apple pressers and cider makers will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.
Refreshments will be available for a donation; proceeds towards the Old School Restoration Project.
There will also be produce will be on sale, including cakes and honey.
Take along your apples, plus clean containers for your juice, from 11am.
