MOVE over Whoopi Goldberg, because pupils from Brigg’s Vale of Ancholme Technology and Music College are set to stage their own version of Sister Act II this week.
Showing at the school every day until this Friday, January 28, the youngsters are taking the 1993 hit comedy, which tells the tale of a run-down Catholic school, presided over by Mother Superior, which is doomed for closure, and giving it a new lease of life.
The play follows one of the girls, who despite her talent, is forbidden to sing by her mother in the school musical, although the choir has made it to the state championship.
Tickets are still available from the college by calling 01652 652908.
