There’s all the fun of the fair as Brocklesby Estate stages its 29th Country Fair later this month.

Thousands are expected at this popular annual event on Sunday June 22, which promises a flurry of new attractions for 2014.

The fair also features a host of demonstrations with a focus on getting the public involved in country sports, as well as showcasing local foods and other goodies.

The Main Ring has a full programme, including falconry by Charlotte Hill and her father John. A headline act will be the Kangaroo Kid, a hugely popular adrenaline pumping quad bike stunt show.

The covered market will tempt the taste buds with Lincolnshire produce. County celebrity chef Rachel Green will hold cookery demonstrations throughout the day and she will also judge the brand new Brocklesby Bake-off competition.

The Countryside Area features country sports for visitors to try, including fishing, shooting and archery. There’s also 4x4 rides and for younger thrill seekers and the chance to drive a mini tank.

The Blue Cross Animal Hospital is back by popular demand with its hugely entertaining fun dog show. The British Carriage Driving Society will stage showing classes and there will also be fly fishing demos, gun dog displays, a photography competition, circus skills workshops, Boston Veteran Bicycle Club, VW Campervans, Spitfire flypast, vintage tractors and a parade of the Brocklesby Hounds.

Adding to the family flavour of the day, the event ends with the ever popular terrier racing.

The lakeside picnic area also offers a fine setting close to the country sports and the main show area, with plenty of room for the kids to play.
