An award-winning team has reunited to bring a tale from a faraway land to delight audiences at Louth’s Riverhead Theatre next month.

Written by the highly-acclaimed John Hewer, Beauty and the Beast is this season’s pantomime offering from Louth Playgoers.

And it has everything a great pantomime commands - a prince turned into a strange beast, a beautiful damsel and a ‘beautiful’ Dame, jokes and songs.

The show opens on Friday, January 9, with other 7.30pm performances on January 14, 15 and 16.

And on Saturday January 10, Sunday January 11 and Saturday January 17, there are two performances each day at 1pm and 6pm.

Tickets cost £9.50 for adults, £5 for under 18s, and are available from the Box Office on 01507 600350 or online at .
