WITH the dark nights of winter, what better than snuggling up with a good book.
Now there is the chance to stock up on a good selection at the book sale being held in Market Rasen Library next week.
There will be lots of bargains in both fiction and non-fiction, as well as a range of children’s books on sale.
Paperbacks will be on sale at just 15p each, with fiction hardbacks at 30p and non-fiction 60p.
Children’s books will cost from 15p and there will also be a range of talking books at 50p each.
The sale will run from 10am to 7pm on Friday, November 18, and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, November 19.
The library, which can be found on Mill Road, opposite the doctors’ surgery, will be open as usual for borrowing books and using the community computers during the sale too.
Last year, Market Rasen library issued almost 40,000 books and enrolled 437 new members.
It holds regular story time activities for preschool children and extra activities during school holidays.
It also plays host to the Rase Heritage Society’s drop in session on the first Tuesday morning of every month and their regular monthly meetings.
The library also has some historical editions of the Market Rasen Mail on microfche.
