It was fun all the way at the Heneage Arms Sleigh Race, which this year took place in brilliant sunshine.
The event is held every year in support of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and this year a total of nine teams took part.
And covering the two-mile- plus course from Sixhills to the Heneage Arms in the fastest time were The Mickey Mouse Runners from The Louth A.C. , who clocked 13-34 minutes.
Second home were Farm Gate from Sixhills in 14-03, third John’s Kiddies from Louth A.C. 14-16 and fourth The Hainton Has Beens in 14-17 minutes.
Other teams taking part were The Stubbs from Hainton, The Olympic Challenge from West Torrington, Deb’s Zumbas from Hainton, Chavelf from Hainton and Cool Running from Lincoln/Louth.
The prize for the best dressed sleigh, judged by Chrissy Yates of C4 Images Photography, went to The Olympic Challenge, and £381.14 was presented to the Air Ambulance.
