RASEN’S resident writer and author extraordinaire Georgia Twynham needs your votes in the Lincolnshire Young People’s Book Awards 2010/11.
Her first novel, The Thirteenth, has been longlisted in the 12 to 14 years old category alongside eight other stories, but she now needs your votes to carry her through to the next stage of the competition.
Georgia, who writes as G L Twynham, said: “I’m the only Lincolnshire based writer in the competition so I really want people to get online and vote for me.
“Children aged between nine and 14 years old who go to school in Lincolnshire can vote by going online or going into any Lincolnshire library.”
Voting for the long list ends on the January 5, 2011.
