The Blessing of the Brigg Pumps takes place this Saturday, June 6, with Tatterfoals, Grimsby Morris Men and Penny and Ian on fiddle entertaining through the day.

At 11.15am the parade leaves the Bandstand to the Pump over the County Bridge next to the Nelthorpe Arms for the first blessing ceremony at 11.30am by the Rev Alec Depledge.

At 12 noon, the parade leaves to process along Wrawby Street to the Pump near the White Horse for the 12.15pm Blessing of the Pump by the Rev Ian Wells, followed by dances from Tatterfoals and Grimsby Morris Men.

At 1.30pm all teams meet back at the bandstand for one final dance each for the Grand Finale.
