Put on your walking boots and discover more of Lincolnshire with the help of a new book from local author Hugh Marrows.

Hugh, whose walks are a popular feature in the Horncastle News, has written several books.

His latest is ‘Walks for all Ages - Lincolnshire’ and features 20 circular walks of up to six miles.

It is suitable for all the family and the routes have been carefully chosen to deliver an enjoyable day or half day in the countryside.

Describing the area at the start of each walk, Hugh then provides a detailed description of the walk with snippets of information.

The book also features Ordnance Survey mapping and handy information such as the gradient and severity of the walk, whether walks are dog friendly and details of nearby pubs and cafes.

Walks featured include Barton-on-Humber, Boston and Anton’s Gowt, Haxey, Tattershall and Coningsby and Well and Rigsby.

Hugh has lived in Lincolnshire all his life and is married with two grown-up children.
