Volunteers are being asked to come forward and help write a new chapter in the history of Caistor Library.
The town’s library is housed in the Arts and Heritage Centre on Plough Hill and is open seven days a week.
Following recent changes in library provision, it is staffed entirely by volunteers.
“We really need more local people to volunteer to help out in the library,” said Stephanie Dale, centre manager.
“We have a few days of the week, especially over weekends, where we have little or no volunteer cover.
“Volunteering is a brilliant way to learn new skills and meet new people.
“We will give you all the training you need and while you’re at the centre you’ll also get a free cup of Stokes tea or coffee.”
